The lady I purchased her from swears she is a haunted doll with lots of activity, lol! She claimed that the doll's eyes, head and arms moved on their own and that she heard faint crying coming from the doll. This was her aunt's childhood doll. She passed away a few years ago.Since owning this doll I have never seen anything paranormal happen, so who knows. Maybe the spirit that she said haunted this doll is scared of me-ha ha! I don't believe in these things so I thought this was silly. However, I could be wrong, lol! There will be no returns if you find her to be haunted, lol!She has a beautiful face with deep chocolate glass sleep eyes. She has a closed mouth with pouty lips. She is on her original cloth body with antique clothes and she has tiny compo hands. Her antique white cotton christening dress as well as her underclothes appear to be original to the doll, but I can't say for certain. They are antique and fit her well. Also, this baby is wearing a lovely old pink cotton jacket that I believe is antique.When she is wearing the long white christening dress she appears to be 23 inches long. She is also wearing an antique white cotton undergarments. Her adorable antique cotton ruffled hat ties under her chin with ribbon that was recently added on. Her tiny cloth feet wear adorable old crocheted botties.She also comes with a cute antique glass baby bottle with rubber nipple. It has a small, stable hairline crack in the glass. It really completes her look and makes her look even cuter!MARKS:Copt. By Grace S. PutnamCondition:Her head has no hairlines. Her cloth body is stained from age, and her composition hands have typical chipping/losses to the paint/finish. Her antique dress has some has slight staining from age.***Her head was removed and stuffed with tissue to protect the glass eyes for shipping. To remove the tissues, all you have to do is snip the stitches that hold the head onto her body and remove it and pull out the tissue and sew it back on. I would leave it alone though because it is safer to keep the tissues inside the head because solid dome babies are hard to re-insert the eyes if they should fall out of the plaster. I feel it is safer to keep it this way.She is a very pretty antique German character baby doll and is looking to be adopted and loved. She needs a name too.
